subtitle.im is a Chrome extension that manages existing YouTube captions. It automatically enables available captions, detects burned-in subtitles locally with OCR to help avoid overlapping text, and lets viewers restore captions when needed. A free plan is available, with optional Pro features. It does not generate or translate subtitles.
