What it does
Peptide Dose Tool is a free peptide reconstitution calculator. You enter the vial size, the amount of bacteriostatic water used to reconstitute it, and your target dose. It returns the exact number of insulin syringe units to draw, how many doses the vial yields, and the cost per dose.
Why it exists
Reconstitution maths is where dosing errors happen. An insulin syringe is marked in units, but a dose is given in milligrams or micrograms, and the conversion between the two depends entirely on how much bacteriostatic water went into the vial. Change the water, and the same number of units becomes a different dose. This tool does that conversion and gives the answer in the units actually printed on the syringe.
Free to use
The calculator is free and runs in the browser.
